Resumo

Relato da primeira ocorrência de Gynaikothrips uzeli (Zimmermann) e Androthrips ramachandrai (Karrny) (Phlaeothripidae: Phlaeothripinae) em Ficus benjamina. As duas espécies foram encontradas em folhas jovens desta árvore, localizadas na área urbana do município de Cuiabá, estado de Mato Grosso, Brasil. As coletas foram efetuadas no período de março de2007 a fevereiro de 2008.
