An initiative developed by Esalq/USP in association with ARAIBY and FEALQ (Luiz de Queiroz Agrarian Studies Foundation).
ESALQSHOW’s events were created to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture and associated industries, to engage with a select audience presenting the latest trends, future challenges, new ideas, products, and services.
ESALQSHOW main goals are to improve the integration among universities and other agribusiness areas and to consolidate and expand the role and contributions of Esalq/USP and its associates.
In 2019, ESALQSHOW is celebrating its third edition, supporting the concept of greater integration among the academy, the manufacturing sector, and urban society. This year, the main theme is “Challenges and Opportunities for Brazilian Agribusiness up to 2030”. In 2017, the first edition of ESALQSHOW presented the theme “Biological Solutions”, and the last edition discussed “The Future of Tropical Agriculture for Society”.
In addition to Esalq/USP, the event welcomes acknowledged entities from the academy, research, promotion, government, and innovative companies from all over Brazil and the world.
ESALQSHOW is an event dedicated to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture, presenting products, services, latest industry trends, future challenges, and new ideas. The events are conducted by Esalq/USP and have the support and attendance of professionals from different industries, from established scholars and researchers to leaders of major companies and startups, as well as students, from all over Brazil and the world.
Objectives:
Strengthen and expand the role and contributions of Esalq/USP and its associates.
Improve the integration among the university and other agribusiness areas.
Promote entrepreneurship through partnerships in order to intensify collaborations between the university and society.
Provide greater awareness of academic initiatives on the national and international market, creating new opportunities.
